Other activities

We did take a little break from our work to go out. First, we went to the grand opening of the IKEA. This was the first Saturday since it opened. This is the only IKEA in the Boston area. It was crazy.

Here is Christine headed to IKEA...

And here is the traffic backed up onto the highway with a cop making sure that people don't butt in...

And here is the great food in the cafeteria (We ate the meatballs before I remembered to take a picture). They had lingonberry juice as a drink option at the soda fountain.

We also went to the New England Auto show, where they had a special Jeep demo area set up. They had drivers take people around on a course to show off the Jeep capabilities. We got to ride in the red open top Jeep. They had a sideways tilt, where I thought I was going to fall out, or if I leaned any more I would tip it over. They also had a hill which was 35deg up and 45deg down. And they stopped in the middle of the downhill. It was pretty amazing. Even more amazing was that they had one of every Jeep model doing the course, so even the luxurious ones were able to do it. Of course, I would still not consider buying one since I have never come across the need to climb or descend such hills.
